Privacy-First Crisis Detection
Crisis keywords are detected in real-time during your conversation to ensure immediate safety resources are available. When a potential crisis is detected, the system immediately surfaces emergency helplines and support options.
Our system monitors conversations in real-time for crisis-related patterns (suicide, self-harm, violence). When a potential crisis is detected, the system immediately triggers safety resources and surfaces emergency helplines.
When a crisis is detected, a support modal appears immediately showing Tele-MANAS (14416) and other helplines. The conversation pauses until you acknowledge the resources. Crisis resources are also available offline through our PWA support.
To improve our crisis detection, anonymous aggregated statistics (like "crisis modal was shown" or "user called helpline") may be collected - never the content of your conversations. You can opt-out of this anonymous reporting in Settings. We use these metrics to improve our crisis detection system.
